Wayne Unrau was raised in MacGregor Manitoba, Canada. Growing up in a musical family with his brothers and sisters, Wayne would often sing at his home church. It was singing in the choir and later in Bible College that he realized singing is what he genuinely loves to do.
More recently the last five years, Wayne has attended the Steve Hurst School of Music Ministries in Nashville and also attended Ben Speer's Stamps Baxter School of Music for two years. He recorded his first CD at Lamp Music Studio in Whitesburg Georgia. During the last few years he has sung in churches in places such as, Marco Island Florida, Carrollton Georgia, Lake Zurich Illinois, and many different churches and locations throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Also, in the fall of 2005 Wayne traveled with the Janz Team singing at their fund raising banquets and has shared the stage with such gospel groups as Legacy Five (Nashville, TN), The Beene Family (Kingsport, TN), Sweet Presence (Abbotsford, B.C.), Circuit Riders (Washington), Paid in Full, (Mississippi), Hope’s Call (Nashville) and Stephen Hill (Nashville).
Wayne and his wife, Valorie live in MacGregor Manitoba and attend the MacGregor EM Church. They have three sons, Brett, Dustin, and Tyson, who are all attending universities in Manitoba. Bret was recently married (August '06).
Fully believing that God has called him into ministering through music, Wayne is available for churches, concerts, and events where there is an audience ready for the Gospel. To contact Wayne, please use the information to the right. We will get back to you as soon as possible! |
